Paragon Theaters Kentlands 10

Update: The cinema is now closed for renovation. Previous Review: This place is a little older, but it functions. Two things could improve: a little more attention to cleanliness (it's not filthy but not exactly spotless) and solving various minor technical problems (such as screenings not starting correctly). A serious renovation may help matters but that would probably also raise ticket prices.

I've lived here a long time and had never been to this theater until recently. My friends an I would always go to the Rio theater, as we assumed it was better. But this place was a pleasant surprise. It's never too crowded, and you have all of the other Kentlands shops to go to if you want. They have stadium seating, and currently they say reclining chairs and a new food menu will be coming soon.

Very nice neighborhood theater. Their tickets are at least $2 less than other theater in the area, friendly staff, no long lines, plenty of parking, and many shops and restaurants nearby. My son had his birthday party there last year in December to watch Stars Wars the Force Awakening with his classmates during the 1st weekend it was released. I called around different theaters and were told they wouldn't do parties in December, esp. for Star Wars, which was sold out already. But Kentlands would do it, everybody was happy. The parents were more thrilled than the kids:) Thank you Kentlands! Our favorite movie theater.

It's gotten run down over the years. I saw a movie where there was tape hanging over the top of the screen. Also they have been promising reclining seats for quite a while with no delivery. Snack selection is abysmal compared to other theratres. Paragon has a chance to make it a great theater again but instead not much had changed.

The Seats were Steep Stadium Style. I went to 3 levels higher the arms didn't lift for more comfort. We had to move to lower seats on entry level to adjust arms of seat for my comfort. This caused us to have to look up the entire time because underneath screen. Both of Us repositioning because of angle leaning forward and leaning back. Seats were uncomfy cushioning worn out. Too many commercials arrived 30 minutes early. (Shown Half Screen) Prefer more Movie Trailers or info related to Movies. Theatre Clean, Movie Full Screen Good Visual and Audio. I went to other Theatres since, the 1970s in the East Coast..... Weekly Family Night Out if a Movie available would go to the Theatre. Those other theatres MD DC VA didn't have this issue. The Handicapped and Strollers can only be on that entry level with sitting in the Aisle in the Path of the Steps or the Walking Space 2010 to 2012 Madagascar. The Matinee Days stopped about when used to go to 530p. This Theatre is a Ghost Town All Hours probably for same reasons mentioned for the Patrons. A Cheaper Rate or Matinee doesn't mean not to update the Theater. Most Theatres are too High in Cost. 💔 Sharing My Experience We need More Love 💟 Parking closest to Theatre only 2 Hour Parking, very few Handicapped 4 Max.
